GERARD ALAMPI
MANAGING DIRECTOR
As a third-generation orchardist born and raised on the family farm, Gerard brings a lifetime of hands-on experience and deep-rooted passion to Prima Fresh.
His humble leadership and unwavering dedication have played a central role in positioning the business as one of Australia’s leading names in fresh produce.

Gerard’s vision was clear from the beginning: to build a business capable of supplying premium-quality fresh fruit year-round. Through relentless effort and innovation that vision became reality.
Today, Prima Fresh proudly delivers top-grade fruit to retail stores across the country.
​
In recognition of his outstanding contribution to the horticulture industry, Gerard was awarded the prestigious Apple and Pear Australia (APAL) Grower of the Year in 2018. This honour reflects his excellence across every aspect of fruit production, from sustainable growing practices and environmental stewardship, to staff management and product quality.
​
A passionate advocate for the future of the industry, Gerard is committed to driving change and promoting best practices. He works tirelessly to inspire and mentor the next generation, encouraging them to forge their own path and leave their mark on this dynamic and rewarding field.
​
Gerard also serves as an Executive Board Member of SEDA and is an active member of the APAL Pear Grower Group, contributing his expertise at both strategic and grassroots levels.
LINDA ALAMPI
BUSINESS MANAGER
For over 18 years, Linda has been a driving force behind the Prima Fresh brand. As Business Manager, she brings a wealth of industry knowledge, rooted in her upbringing on her grandparents' orchard, and combines it with sharp business acumen to support the company's continued growth.

With a degree in Finance and Administration, Linda works closely with her husband, Gerard, overseeing the daily operations of the business. Her strategic insight and leadership have played a key role in positioning Prima Fresh as a leader in the industry.
​
Deeply grounded in family values, Linda is not only a supportive partner in business but also a devoted mother to their three children —Alexia, Samuel, and Ariana. She is passionate about nurturing the next generation, both at home and within the Prima Fresh Group, preparing them to carry the family legacy forward.
​
In addition to her operational leadership, Linda also manages the Group’s Social Media Marketing, ensuring the Prima Fresh brand remains authentic, visible and connected to its audience.
DEWAN AHMED
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Dewan joined Prima Fresh in February 2022, bringing with him over five years of experience in Accounting and Finance. Since then, he has become an integral part of the business, known for his motivation, professionalism and commitment to excellence.
​
With a long-standing passion for the horticulture industry, Dewan brought valuable insight into the Apple, Pear and Citrus sectors adding further depth to the Prima Fresh team.
​
He holds a Master’s degree in Professional Accounting, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Human Resources. Dewan’s expertise extends well beyond traditional accounting, with proven skills in Financial Analysis, Organisational Development and Strategic Thinking.
​
Outside of work, Dewan is a dedicated soccer fan and an avid traveller. His drive for success is not only focused on business outcomes, but also on contributing positively to the entire Prima Fresh team.
JACKSON BENNETT
NATIONAL SALES MANAGER
Jackson is a highly dedicated professional who joined the Prima Fresh Group in 2022, bringing with him over a decade of experience in the apple and pear industry across multiple regions.
His extensive knowledge of fresh produce, combined with his strategic mindset, makes him an invaluable asset to the team.
​
While Jackson’s expertise in account and sales management is exceptional, his skill set extends well beyond these areas.
He has advanced experience in new business development, brand building and business analysis, enabling him to identify opportunities for growth and deliver results that benefit both growers and customers.
​
Passionate about the fresh produce industry, Jackson is driven by a commitment to excellence and a desire to build lasting relationships across the supply chain.
In addition to his sales and business development responsibilities, he also oversees the Group’s social media marketing, helping to strengthen Prima Fresh’s brand presence and connect with a wider audience.​
KAT HEIMBACH
PACKHOUSE PRODUCTION MANAGER
Kat is a dedicated and dynamic professional with over seven years of experience in the agriculture industry, built through hands-on involvement, persistence and a deep respect for the people behind the produce.
​
Since joining Prima Fresh in 2018, she has progressed from quality control and managing business accreditations to leading production schedules and quality processes across the entire business.
Kat is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and oversees production planning, staff management as well as resource allocation to meet both daily and seasonal targets, while maintaining rigorous quality control systems and food safety compliance.
​
Kat directly manages internal and external audits, ensures the integrity of traceability systems and maintains full accountability for end-to-end packhouse performance.
​
With a strategic mindset and a people-first leadership style, Kat excels at balancing operational efficiency, team culture and quality outcomes. Her commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence makes her an invaluable part of the Prima Fresh team, driving the consistent delivery of premium-quality fruit to customers locally and internationally.
Shane has been an integral part of Prima Fresh since 2015, bringing dedication, adaptability and a strong work ethic to every role he has undertaken.

Over the years Shane has gained extensive experience across multiple areas of the business, progressing through a variety of positions that have provided him with valuable insights into the company’s operations. This diverse background has equipped him with a well-rounded understanding of the fresh produce industry and the unique demands of a high-performing packhouse.
In early 2023 Shane stepped into his current role where he continues to make a significant impact.

As Logistics & Supply Chain Manager, Shane is committed to optimising supply chain processes and ensuring the seamless flow of goods from orchard to customer.
​
He is known for his strong problem-solving abilities, organisational skills and unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest standards of efficiency and quality.
​
Leading by example Shane fosters a positive, solutions-focused attitude within the logistics team. His collaborative approach and dedication to continuous improvement are driving greater success for Prima Fresh, helping the business deliver premium-quality produce to both local and international markets.
