GERARD ALAMPI
MANAGING DIRECTOR
As a third-generation orchardist who was born and raised on the farm, Gerard is incredibly humble and passionate about where the Prima Fresh business is positioned today - as a leading brand in the fresh produce industry.
Gerard had the vision to build a business that could supply premium fresh fruit all year round and this vision turned in reality. Prima Fresh has now become one of the premium suppliers of fresh fruit into retail stores right across Australia.
In 2018 Gerard won the 'Apple and Pear Australia (APAL) Grower of the Year' Award for his contribution across all aspects of fruit production, including growing, environmental, staff management and product quality.

Gerard is extremely passionate about the survival of the industry and is a keen driver and advocator of change and best practice. Continually working to inspire and motivate our next generation in finding their place and add their own signature to this dynamic, challenging, but hugely rewarding industry.

Gerard is an executive Board member of SEDA and member of the APAL Pear Grower Group.
LINDA ALAMPI
FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION COORDINATOR
Linda has been a pillar of strength for the Prima Fresh brand for over 18 years. Her incredible industry knowledge runs through her veins and comes from spending her entire childhood years growing up on her grandparent’s orchard.
With a degree in finance and administration, Linda supports her husband Gerard in the daily operations of the business and takes pride in playing a huge part advancing the Prima Fresh Business to becoming a leader in the industry.
With family values as her highest priority and being a very supportive wife, Linda is also an incredible mother to their 3 beautiful children, Alexia, Samuel & Ariana, who are being well groomed to become the next generation leaders of the Prima Fresh Group.

Linda also takes care of the Group's Social Media Marketing.

DEWAN AHMED FINANCIAL CONTROLLER
Dewan joined Prima Fresh in February 2022 with over 5 years of Accounting and Finance experience.
He is a highly motivated and talented professional and has become an integral part of the overall operation.
​
He has always been passionate about the horticulture industry and had previous knowledge about the Apple, Pear and Citrus industry.
​
Dewan holds a Master’s degree in Professional Accounting and a Bachelor degree in Finance & Human Resources and his expertise are far beyond accounts only, having experience in Financial Analysis, Organisational Development and Critical Thinking.
Dewan is a soccer fan and loves to travel when he’s not working towards succes, for not just the business, but also the whole team.
JACKSON BENNETT
NATIONAL SALES MANAGER
Jackson is a highly dedicated professional who joined the Prima Fresh Group in 2022, bringing with him over a decade of experience in the apple and pear industry across multiple regions.
His extensive knowledge of fresh produce, combined with his strategic mindset, makes him an invaluable asset to the team.

While Jackson’s expertise in account and sales management is exceptional, his skill set extends well beyond these areas.
He has advanced experience in new business development, brand building and business analysis, enabling him to identify opportunities for growth and deliver results that benefit both growers and customers.
​
Passionate about the fresh produce industry, Jackson is driven by a commitment to excellence and a desire to build lasting relationships across the supply chain.
In addition to his sales and business development responsibilities, he also oversees the Group’s social media marketing, helping to strengthen Prima Fresh’s brand presence and connect with a wider audience.​
KAT HEIMBACH
PACKHOUSE PRODUCTION MANAGER
Kat is a dedicated and dynamic professional with over seven years of experience in the agriculture industry, built through hands-on involvement, persistence and a deep respect for the people behind the produce.
​
Since joining Prima Fresh in 2018, she has progressed from quality control and managing business accreditations to leading production schedules and quality processes across the entire business.
Kat is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and oversees production planning, staff management as well as resource allocation to meet both daily and seasonal targets, while maintaining rigorous quality control systems and food safety compliance.
​
Kat directly manages internal and external audits, ensures the integrity of traceability systems and maintains full accountability for end-to-end packhouse performance.
​
With a strategic mindset and a people-first leadership style, Kat excels at balancing operational efficiency, team culture and quality outcomes. Her commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence makes her an invaluable part of the Prima Fresh team, driving the consistent delivery of premium-quality fruit to customers locally and internationally.
Shane has been an integral part of Prima Fresh since 2015, bringing dedication, adaptability and a strong work ethic to every role he has undertaken.

Over the years Shane has gained extensive experience across multiple areas of the business, progressing through a variety of positions that have provided him with valuable insights into the company’s operations. This diverse background has equipped him with a well-rounded understanding of the fresh produce industry and the unique demands of a high-performing packhouse.
In early 2023 Shane stepped into his current role where he continues to make a significant impact.

As Logistics & Supply Chain Manager, Shane is committed to optimising supply chain processes and ensuring the seamless flow of goods from orchard to customer.

He is known for his strong problem-solving abilities, organisational skills and unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest standards of efficiency and quality.

Leading by example Shane fosters a positive, solutions-focused attitude within the logistics team. His collaborative approach and dedication to continuous improvement are driving greater success for Prima Fresh, helping the business deliver premium-quality produce to both local and international markets.
